Clinical Medical Assistant Program
The student will obtain their certificate of completion and be eligible to complete the certification exam once all academic criteria and financial obligations have been met.
Within 30 days after finishing their program, North Georgia Healthcare Training works one-on-one with students to find extern placement locations. Additionally, NGHT will make an effort to put students in locations with employment possibilities that match their requirements and career goals. Students frequently find jobs at these places after their externships are finished. The location or specialty selected, however, cannot be guaranteed by NGHT. Depending on the proximity of the extern site and the location of the student, students may have to drive up to 30 miles. In cases when a student only has a certain number of days or hours available for an externship, NGHT will make an effort to choose a site that will address their needs. The student will be responsible for finding their own extern site if, for any reason, they choose not to attend an extern site, leave an extern site due to personal issues, or decline an extern site due to location.
· Students must complete all 120-hours of instruction with at least a 70% in classroom/ lecture and a 100% in lab. Candidates who complete this course with success will be eligible to sit for the NHA national qualifying exam for clinical medical assistant.
· Complete clinical externship within 6 months.
· Settle all financial obligations with North Georgia Healthcare Training.
